Capacity Development, Human Rights and Advocacy Officer
Christine Odero is the Capacity Development, Human Rights and Advocacy Officer. She has diverse skills in Case Management, Counseling, Training facilitation, Mentorship, Proposal development, Concept Development and Design, Resource Mobilization and Project Planning and Implementation among others. Much of this-has been this gained in Faraja where she has worked for over 10 years.
Over the years, she has helped thousands of female and male offenders acquire employable life skills and facilitated skills transfer training with the aim of assisting the offenders upon release to find sustainable live hoods. Her prowess in social and managerial skills usually tailored towards capacity development – empowering vulnerable groups in sustainable human development and social change. She is currently coordinating a 2/1 project on Human Rights that is funded by the EU in partnership with other Civil Society Organizations in various correctional facilities in Kenya.
