Inmates training of sexual offenders on behavior change, peer education and counseling

Handing over of 250 beds to the Women inmates

Big!! Big!! …  stuff coming up in Nakuru!!! “Once a woman is jailed, then the whole society suffers”. Somewhere in Nakuru, women and mothers who are incarcerated are in need of bedding (mattresses, beds etc.)  Faraja Foundation continues to standup for the men, women and children who accompany their mothers behind bars. Mentorship Session with the Boys in our Scholarship Program

We embarked on a journey to educate the boy and girl child in the borstal and juvenile institutions. We began this campaign as an effective way of reintegrating the children back to the society. The objective of this mentorship program will be to hear the experiences of these beneficiaries and consequently offer mentorship/ psychosocial support interventions with the aim of building self-esteem, guidance in the setting of academic/ life goals, management of stress and guidance on making healthy choices.

The African CSO Excellence Awards

Faraja Foundation is among the 45 applicants for the 2018 edition of the Africa CSO Excellence Awards which was ranked according to  scores across the 8 categories of assessment and a category for an overall winner to produce a long-list of 45 CSOs.
